Call for Papers / Participation - 2026

BSidesVienna 0x7EA takes place on 2026-06-27.

Submission guideline

BSides is an open, international event, the official conference language for all talks, trainings and workshops (as well as submitted abstracts) is English to ensure our foreign friends don't feel all sad panda about missing things.

Formats

We welcome talk submission from experienced presenters as well as from first time presenters. There is no age restriction for our rookie track. If you want to present at BSidesVienna but in a smaller setting in front of about 50 people just select the rookie track. If you want support/mentoring for your talk do not forget to select the checkbox in the submission process
In Addition we also have a workshop track for about 20 people at a time. Please add any prerequisites you may need for you workshop in your submission.

Time slots

We are currently seeking a selection of presentations from 30 to 60 minutes (if you want to propose another length just change the time in your proposal).
In addition we also welcome submissions for workshops between 60 and 180 minutes again.

The Jargon Lexicon contains a nice definition we think fits very well here:
